1.Retrievers(Labrador)
The American Kennel Club has once again named the Labrador Retriever the most popular dog breed in America. The Labrador Retriever which originated in Newfoundland, was originally employed to assist fishermen in bringing in their nets, and catching fish that escaped from their lines. Labrador retrievers, or “labs,” were developed primarily as game retrievers and are popular among bird hunters.
They are ideal as guide dogs for the blind, as members of search-and-rescue teams, or in narcotics detection with law enforcement.
These dogs are family-friendly canines and quickly trainable. Yellow, black, and chocolate Labrador Retrievers, are available in three hues.
Labs were classified as “Sporting” dogs by the American Kennel Club in 1917. Retrievers are guaranteed to be appreciated everywhere they go because of their charming face, lovable temperament, and friendly attitude. If you or a member of your family is searching for a medium to big dog, Labradors are an excellent choice, since they bond quickly and are highly social.
2. German Shepherd
German Shepherds originated in 1899, in the town of Karlsruhe, Germany. They were originally employed as herding and agricultural dogs. The German Shepherd is widely regarded as the best police, security, and military dogs in the world. They’ve always been one of the most popular breeds in the United States.
A devoted and protective family member, the German Shepherd is also a loving family companion. They come in a variety of hues, but black and brown are the most common. The German Shepherd was first recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1908 and is classified as a “herding” dog.
They are known for being confident, intelligent, and fearless. This is a breed that is extremely loyal, and capable of learning orders for a variety of jobs. German Shepherds require a great deal of activity, and do not like being bored. They might become naughty and high-strung if they do not receive enough exercise. They are also known to shed a lot of hair.

3. French Bulldogs
French bulldogs are tiny versions of the Bulldog, as their name indicates. Although French Bulldogs do not bark much, they are vigilant, and do not require as much activity as other breeds. If you are eager to play with your French Bulldog for healthy indoor exercise time, you can keep them active and happy at home.
The “English” Bulldog, as it is more often known, is said to have originated in the British Isles. It is because these dogs were employed to bait bulls, that they are known as the “bull” dog. They had to be ruthless as well as brave and pain-resistant. When dog fighting became prohibited in England, breeders began breeding to erase the breed’s savage characteristics.
Within a few generations, these canines evolved into loving companions, with a pleasant disposition. Bulldogs come in a variety of colors and patterns, including brindle, white, red, fawn, fallow, and piebald. They are stocky, short-legged dogs with wrinkled faces and short snouts. The Bulldog was first recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1886, and is classified as a “Non-Sporting” breed.

Poodles are one of the most intelligent dog breeds, and excel at obedience training. Poodles come in a range of solid colors, such as white, black, apricot, and grey, but never in multi-colored varieties. The Poodle is available in three sizes: regular, miniature, and toy. In 1887, the American Kennel Club (AKC) recognized them.
The regular and small sizes belong to the “Non-Sporting” category, while the toy size belongs to the “Toy” category.Poodles, regardless of size (standard, mini, or toy), are eager to learn, very intelligent, and athletic! 6. Rottweiler
The Rottweiler breed sprung from Roman herding dogs. For their food source, the Romans kept herds of animals while invading Europe. During the night, the Romans used dogs to keep the herd together and defend the food source. The Rottweiler almost went extinct when the need for their services decreased. Fortunately, a club was created in the early 1900s, and the standard breed was established.
The Rottweiler is a strong and clever dog. They make excellent guard, police, and therapy dogs, due to their tremendous stamina and ease of training.
Rottweilers are also fantastic livestock dogs. The coat of a Rottweiler is black with mahogany or rust patterns. They were first recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1931, and are classified as “Working” dogs. They may get along well with people and other pets if they are properly socialized, but male Rottweilers are naturally aggressive. This is a breed that should only be obtained from a trustworthy breeder.
7. German Shorthaired Pointers
GSPs (German Shorthaired Pointers) are joyful, trainable dogs who like active activities like jogging, swimming, and sports. They are naturally energetic hunters and adventurers.
